Oh, and you could publish the artifacts as you describe just using a copy with the antpublisher and then create an alternative tab that showed that artifact directory rather than the default one. You'd still have the issue with failed builds but you could get around that by having the label incrementer configured as a pre-build incrementer instead of a post-build incrementer.
