Controlling what the progress is in the buildstatus file

Hello,

Is there a direct way from inside an ant task to control the progress message in the buildstatus file? I think by default it grabs the name of the last ant target to start. This is less than ideal for me. Can I echo a message with a specific token in the string and have the buildstatus file pick it up?
