I have decoded your question as a one about implementation persistance layer in your application, so: JDBC - faster(theoretically) BMP(+JDBC) -very flexible and only choice with legacy DB or in some sophisticated cases CMP - simpler( $0 in case of JBoss ) By the way you will need to call JDBC directly probably even with CMP.... Why do not consider JDO stuff like Castor too? Performance in absolute terms means nothing, C++ is faster than Java, so what --- Abdel Hamid Ghareeb <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear all, > Any one can help me in this decision > whether to use JDBC in my applications or CMP > Entity Beans ? > The above decision needs to be make taking into > consideration the performance issues. > > thanks > > > __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
