Middlegen error : Meddlegen Task not found

Thank you for your response,

We are using MiddleGen 1.0, Ant 1.5.4  and JBoss 4.0.0.
We tried like this

set classpath =;
And we checked the classpath by
echo %classpath%
It gave no values. By this we confirmed that classpath is empty.
After that we tried the command Ant like below

c:\Middlegen\samples>ant

it gave the same error like

C:\MiddleGen\samples>ant
Buildfile: build.xml

middlegen:

BUILD FAILED
file:C:/MiddleGen/samples/build.xml:112: taskdef class 
middlegen.MiddlegenTask cannot be found

Total time: 1 second

Kindly, suggest a way to work with Middlegen,
