Well, i'm almost sure there is another way to do what i'm doing but as usual i'm in a hurry so... not luck to my side. Anyway what i really need is a way to 'lock' together the user at the web front end (the barracuda apps) with a series of class which act like Z39.50 client. For those of you who don't know what is Z39.50... Z39.50 is an information retrieval protocol which is state-full so i need to get sure that the gateway class i'm using to control the Z39.50 socket is the one associated with that user from the web otherwise i could present some information to the web user which was asked by another user since the 'result set' from the Z39.50 search is on the Z39.50 target (server) So my first thought was to use session IDs ...
