Barracuda and DODS (again)

Sometime ago I tell about problems with Barracuda and DODS 5.1
There are compilations problems you can avoid using other jars from
the enhydra 5.1 distro. But you also get runtime problems (for me, 
unavoidables
from the time being).

Some in this list recommended using DODS 5.0, but I can´t find this version
of DODS :(

Furthermore, I think quite troublesome if when wanting to use DODS, we 
get in
incompatibilities.

The BarracudaDiscrack 1.2.5 compiles an run well out of the box, but if yo
try to replace de "data" code with newly generated DODS 5.1 code, it 
fails here
and then.

I would like if there si some stable aproach to this problem, or if 
there are some
subsitute of DODS that we can use safely.
