From an _architecture_ perspective, the answer is clearly NO - Barracuda is
designed in layers so that you pick and choose what you want to use. If you
just want the event model, you can go for it.

I raised the question about LGPL licensing - if you extend Barracuda event
classes (which is how Barracuda is designed to be used), does the LGPL then
require the app doing the extending to be LGPL (ie. is the app using the
event model a "derivative work"). To me, the LGPL is fuzzy in this area, and
its that fuzziness that concerns me.
