Using cookies for session handling with kSOAP?

Hello,
I'm looking at a way to implement session handling with kSOAP. After 
reading the Javadoc of kSOAP, I cannot see a way to do that when I'm 
using org.ksoap.transport.HttpTransport.
Is there a way to do session handling with cookies and kSOAP? Or is 
there a simple alternative to cookies?
