Hi,

RepositoryManager interface is only for shark's kernel internal usage, and you shouln't mess with it.
Shark do not allow you to change process definition on fly, and to add another variable into process definition (if that's what you wanted to do).
If you need to add another variable definition to the process, you can modify your XPDL, and than make an update of previous XPDL using PackageAdministration.updatePackage() method.

  Thank you but unfortunately I had already tested SharkEngineManager.getInstance().getRepositoryPersistenceManager()  and it is not accesible outside of its package (org.enhydra.shark). I am searching for something public, not depending on the package you are.

    Seems like FileSystemRepositoryPersistenceManager is one implmentation of RepositoryPersistenceManager. 

    Also you could maybe look at PackageAdmin's constructor. This code:

    Hi there,

    I am working with Shark 1.0 and I would like to create an activity variable "on the fly". I have seen that there is a method in order to do this in RepositoryPersistenceManager interface but I do not know how to get a reference to the implementation of this interface. All that I have found are internal references, is there any way to use this or another thing to create and remove and activity variable?
