What is cause of java.lang.VerifyError in Log4jLogChannel class..?

Would someone please explain the meaning of this error: (I get it when I 
run runSA.bat and also when I try to initialise Shark via my web app.):

exception occurred during event dispatching:
java.lang.VerifyError: (class: com/lutris/logging/Log4jLogChannel, method: 
write signature: 
(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/Throwable;)V) Incompatible 
argument to function
        at com.lutris.logging.Log4jLogger.createChannel(Unknown Source)
..etc..

Also where can i find the api for this class? This link:

seems out of date.
