Debugger slow due to lots of exceptions

Hi ! I have read this thread https://sourceforge.net/p/ikvm/mailman/ikvm-developers/thread/[email protected]/ about "an unfortunate philosophical difference between Java and .NET". Is it possible for IKVM to avoid all those unneeded exceptions that really slows down the debugging process, and raise exceptions only when needed (for java compatibility) ?
