I've released 2.10.0.Alpha4, it can be downloaded from [1]. This release 
contains the SCOPE protocol, which is described in my blog [2] last week.

Work on 2.10 is progressing nicely, almost all of the new functionality 
is complete. Now, many smaller bug fixes or enhancements have to be 
completed to release 2.10.
