[jgroups-dev] Initial logo designs for JGroups

Hello All,

I've worked up an initial round of logo designs that I wanted to share with the JGroups community and get your feedback. The logos are based on ideas shared during our initial conversations. 

Couple of notes on the designs:

1) I have the logos sized large, medium and small. Additionally, I've separated the icon and presented it at 64x64, 32x32 and 16x16 (the smallest it will ever be produced. This will give you an idea of how the logo will reduce for various applications.

2) No  color! That's right... all are presented in black and white. Color choice is a very selective and often charged conversation. I wanted everyone to focus purely on the form of the logos without being pulled into a side discussion of color at this stage.

Here are the logo designs:

School of Fish: I created a stylized "J" out of the fish. I didn't want to make it too dense with fish as they would get very hard to see at reduced sizes.

Skydivers v.1: Group of skydivers that form patterns and shapes through coordinated efforts.

Skydivers v.2: I did a different view of the skydivers. I like how their interlocked arms create a lotus flower shape. Represents how JGroups puts deliberate order to messages in a chaotic environment?

Abstraction of a formation of planes v.1: I didn't want to use literal representations of planes as this would be very nationalistic.

Morse code: "J" and "G" in code. I liked the idea of this old communication device as you definitely received the message in a specific order.
