In order to make the license change from LGPL 2.1 to AL 2.0, I have to get agreement from every contributor who: #1 Currently has code in the code base (master) #2 Was *not* a Red Hat employee at the time of the contribution (work-for-hire) To get a list of contributors I used 'git shortlog -s -n -e'. This command goes through all commits in the code base and lists the different contributors along with the number of commits per contributor. This lists 56 contributors, but it also lists contributors whose code has been removed, as git tracks removals in its history, too. This week, I will identify contributors (using git blame) who still have code in the code base and were not Red Hat (or JBoss) employees at the time of the contribution and contact them to ask for their permission to switch to the AL 2.0 license. You can greatly help me if you know that you satisfy #1 and #2, by sending me an email approving or rejecting the change.
