Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: JLCP-194
Summary: Need way to sort messages by categories of subject, sender, and date
       Type: New Feature

     Status: Assigned
   Priority: Major

 Time Spent: Unknown
   Estimate: 0 minutes

    Project: Javalobby Community Platform
   Fix Fors:
             1.0.0 (Fangorn)
   Versions:
             0.5.1

   Assignee: Matthew Schmidt
   Reporter: Gregory Pierce

    Created: Sat, 3 May 2003 10:33 PM
    Updated: Mon, 23 Jun 2003 10:15 AM
Environment: All

Description:
When a user sends a message to another user they receive an entry in the message center. There doesn't seem to be a limit on how many can be received on one page (which is kinda weird - should have a max number of messages per page). Because of this, its fairly easy to get lost in all of the messages that you may have received.
