JLCP Team and Javalobby Volunteers,
After talking to Matthew tonight, I believe we have the final kinks =
worked out of the security system. Rest assured that everything is =
under control and active development is happening. We should be able to =
get the code out of his private tree and into our new main tree in a day =
or two. I know, I Know, I've been saying this for a month and I know I =
sound like a broken record (even in my own head). JLCP is gonna kick it =
up a notch and we've got a lot of tasks that I've been filing for us to =
work on. All the modules need improvements, including the private =
messaging, links, file center (definitely), and forums (I have filed new =
tasks for this). We're going to be moving the source code to our new =
home at http://www.jforge.org, so if you would like to help out, please =
register as a user there. We have setup a new mailing list which you =
can subscribe to by going to =
http://lists.jforge.org/mailman/listinfo/jlcp-dev and entering the =
information you want to subscribe with. All development conversations =
about JLCP will slowly be migrated to that list.
Also, check out the issues that are open at http://jira.javalobby.org, =
especially the new ones in the Forums module. Again, I ask for your =
help with JLCP. We have a great system and its going to be going =
places. With your help, we can take it a place where PHP has ruled in =
the past. If you have feature requests, submit them to the system. I =
want to hear what everyone thinks should be in JLCP. We'll take a look =
at everything and see where we can make improvements. Javalobby has a =
lot of ideas for new modules, but I'm sure you guys have even more. =
Let's hear them!
Warm regards,
Matt
