Dear Jason,
which jdom-jar files do you use? The jar-files of my zip-file? If you are using other jars, is it possible to send those to me?
It's so strange: I run the jdomReaderSax one time with the firts jdom.jar (1.0), it takes 8 sec.
And then the only thing I do is changing the jdom.jar to 1.1 and it takes me 5 minutes and 33 seconds (with the 25Mb xml file). On the same computer, with the same java memory,....(jdk 1.4.2 ,computer: intel(R) core(TM)2 Duo CPU,[email protected] , 777MHz, 1,99GB of RAM )
How is it possible, I can't understand?
I agree that the code can be much efficient and so the time can be reduced. But I'm concerned about the difference in time between jdom 1.0 and jdom 1.1.
And Paul
had faced with the same problem, I think.
Thank you for your assistance.
Katja
