I'm sorry, I can't quite work out what you're asking.  Is this a 
question about installing Jikes RVM ?  I'm not sure what hadoop has to 
do with it - I'm pretty confident that hadoop won't run under Jikes RVM.

If you're trying to install Jikes RVM 3.0, it's a pretty old release.  
You'd be better of installing 3.1.4.

If you have a problem building classpath that isn't fixed by updating to 
a later version of Jikes RVM, then we'll need the exact output of the 
error, plus a half-page or so of context, and the commands you ran to do 
the build.
