Jira as a Liferay Portlet

Hello,
Can you have a Jira portlet in Liferay?

The company I work for have Jira and Liferay and want to use Liferay as our intranet with a view into the users Jira issues.  This will be easier for the user to keep track of their Jira issues.

Can this be done? if so how?
