>I just wanted to know if rollabck is possible and it will not lead to database corruption or other jira errors. Is there a procedure available for rollback from 4.3 to 4.0? No. You can't rollback The only way to rollback an upgrade is to restore the data backup you took when you did the upgrade. This will, of course, lose you all the data entered since the upgrade, so it's generally only useful in situations where the upgrade fails and you restore it on the day. It is actually +possible+ to go backwards, but you'll need a *lot* of time to do it (and your users won't be able to write to Jira while you're working on the data) - the best way is to export the current xml, work out how to downgrade it manually, apply the edits and then import it into a 4.0 instance. If it's been a month, I'm afraid you really do need to say "No" to your management and explore dealing with the reasons why they think they want to downgrade instead. -- Post by broughn2 - online at: http://forums.atlassian.com/thread.jspa?forumID=46&threadID=55138 _______________________________________________ Jira-user mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or change your options visit this page: http://lists.atlassian.com/mailman/listinfo/jira-user
