I'm afraid we can't help but point you at the documentation again. That's a lot of very generalised questions and the development documents are long and complex because the answers are long and complex. (You could use vi, nano, notepad, but you'll find an IDE is a better idea. I've worked mostly with IDEA and Eclipse, but there's plenty of others available) >How do I make the interface? The general outline of a Jira plugin is # There's a header file called atlassian-plugin.xml that ties everything together, it tells Jira where to find "resources", which include the following # Some .vm files which are processed while running, generating html for the user and provide places to talk to your java # Java files do the actual work # Other resources such as javascript, webwork, properties, images and so on Most plugins I've written are java and .vm files only. A couple are just one or the other (listeners are just java, some simple fields are just .vm) -- Post by broughn2 - online at: http://forums.atlassian.com/thread.jspa?forumID=46&threadID=55145 _______________________________________________ Jira-user mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or change your options visit this page: http://lists.atlassian.com/mailman/listinfo/jira-user
