There are definitely no problems in using a db_repository. I was just curios;)
Using a db to store web pages will make difficult the page content 
management. The web Designers will need to know how to extract and update 
the pages from your db, unless you'll not provide a CMS for a centralized 
content management.

Also, a CVS is a must in production and so on ...
