Actually you can already create RPM files.. I think the code is actually ready for a point release, but most developers (including me) haven't had the time to double-check everything and do the release :( The ant task is missing, but it shouldn't be much work to implement (if you do so, feel free to contribute it back to jrpm *grin*).
