You just need to drop a couple ceryle-wikiutil jars into your JSPWiki
lib.  Ceryle is a separate thing that embeds JSPWiki inside of it.  But
the functions and features that Ceryle adds to JSPWiki are done as
plain-vanilla JSPWiki plugins.  Murray quite nicely does this so we can
all benefit from Ceryles work.

I honestly haven't had time to look at any of this, I glanced at the Tag
related code that Murray sent me, but nothing more.  He can get you a
distro if it's not downloadable from his Ceryle wiki site.

Did I miss something? I never recieved the distro...Do I need to install

It took me a while to understand the discussion between you and John
cause I kept hoping that the available core pluggins could be somehow
tweaked to do what I need...No such luck..

Questions:

1. Is this done/finished?? Currently I rename pages from the hard disk
to avoid the exceptions being thrown when I use the rename button.

2.Do I need to be working from Ceryle or does this apply to JSPwiki
admins as well?  IOW, I assume that CeryleWiki, builds on Jspwiki
(apologies for not knowing the boundries)...but if we are adding jar
files I assume that a recompilation of JSPwiki would be needed right?

Unfortunately for some users wiki markup seems geeky so we can't expect
them to remember to TAG their pages. Perhaps, you can give them the
option of adding them to a  topic map before the page is created...I
have concluded that I need someway to TAG my jspwiki pages.

But unless it is drop dead easy for users to TAG their pages my guess is
that they won't.

Murray, this makes me think that my choices if I want

   - a Tag plugin (for setting one or more tags on a page) and a
   - HasTagOf plugin (for querying tags).

is to either switch to Ceryle
or to create my own pluggin for jspwiki or is the TagManager a part of
Jspwiki?
