jSwat, jEdit with JDK1.4 on XP

I'm not sure who's the problem and haven't seen anything on the jEdit
forum and hoping someone here might have an idea.

Since I upgraded to JDK 1.4.0, jSwat 2.1, and jEdit 40final last week,
after running all three for a couple of hours, Windows XP does a hard
crash - reboot and full disk check.  Up until last week, I'd been using
the same products with the appropriate versions for JDK 1.3.x all day
with no problems.

Any ideas how I can figure out, find out, or report the problem???
