Given that I hardly use Windows anymore because it crashes randomly, I would have to guess that the timing of the crash is simply coincidental. I have yet to see the JVM or a Java application bring about a system crash, even in Windows. But then again, I am using Windows 2000, not XP (strictly because of the XP license). If the crash occurs frequently while using the trio of apps, then maybe there is a connection. Otherwise, it probably is just random. nathan On Mon, 2002-05-13 at 15:55, Roy Epperson wrote: > I'm not sure who's the problem and haven't seen anything on the jEdit > forum and hoping someone here might have an idea. > > Since I upgraded to JDK 1.4.0, jSwat 2.1, and jEdit 40final last week, > after running all three for a couple of hours, Windows XP does a hard > crash - reboot and full disk check.
