I'm not clear on the description of the problem. If you start JSwat first, there are problems? Or is it that if you do not start JSwat first, there will be problems for the other applications? Is this true for other Java applications? If so, the problem is not with JSwat and more likely something to do with the JDK. Make sure you are running the latest JDK.
