Re: cannot find the Default Source Stratum preference

My apologies, that particular setting is only available in the older 
versions of JSwat. There is a P4 RFE to implement this for version 3.x 
-- see Bugzilla entry #933.

BTW, the Options dialog for the 3.x versions is found under the Tools 
menu. The JSwat specific settings (as opposed to the settings defined in 
the NetBeans Platform, on which JSwat is based) are in the "General" 
category.

In any case, it is not necessary to set the default stratum. In most 
cases the debuggee JVM will provide the correct default.
