Hey -

I took a little swing at revamping the JXTA Download page yesterday, starting
  w/ the nightlies:

    http://download.jxta.org/build/nightly

I'd like to remove extraneous build artifacts and have identified the following:

    platform :: jxtaSwing.jar, jxtaextservice.war, jxtaext.jar

note: jxatext.jar and it's dependencies are available in jxta-lib-*.zip

I need confirmation to the above and have registered issue #1336:

    http://platform.jxta.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1366

Agreeing or disagreeing via email is a fine means to hash this one out, but
I would like to close this issue in the spirit of making the JXTA downloads
beyone easy. I have more in store down the road.

In stepping back a bit it has been suggested the resulting page contains
too much info, namely like links to project home page, maven reports and
  extraneous jnlp files.

Taking this into account I have boiled out all of the above to a general
"build" page and have uploaded it to:

    http://download.jxta.org/build

This page can be viewed as a JXTA build Rosetta Stone and is intentionally
consistent in format across projects. With this page in place and given it
sits above the nightly and release pages we should be able to remove all
links but the actual downloads on the nightly (and release) page.

Some issues do remain (eg better space utilage) but I would appreciate some
quick feedback, pub or private, as to is this helping or not and if not, what
  would you suggest

  much appreciated,

- james
