Re: help needed with myjxta installation in a vlan environment

  Cc'ing the MyJXTA dev list ... as others on that list run MyJXTA on Windows.

  I'm still on vacation, and running late for an appointment, so my response
  here is short. That said, when I'm back online I'll help out as needed. The
  MyJXTA code slingers are quite helpful as well so I suspect someone on the
  above Cc list can help.

  In short, MyJXTA can likely fill your needs. That said, any JXTA application
  with like capabilities can help as well.

  You might want to try the WebStart/JNLP build if you haven't already:

    note: webstart information - http://java.sun.com/products/javawebstart

  I have not run the MyJXTA bat script for awhile now and it could be that it
  includes an error. If so, we should get that fixed. Hmmmmmmmm ... I just looked
  at the file that generates the bat script and made some mods that might work.
  It should be tested.

  I recommend trying to connect on the default "Public Network" (aka PubNet) first
  and if it works as expected we can work to help you construct a private network
  deployment. A blog titled "My MyJXTA" on java.net details how to achieve a private
  network deployment:

    note: configuration improvements are forthcoming that should further ease/aid
          non-default deployments
