I agree! Anything that make using easier is welcome Michel -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, May 08, 2005 04:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JXTA discuss] Project Proposal: Peermi Peermi is a extension of the standard RMI classes that enables true p2p, bidi rmi calls using jxta. Peermi also includes a universal lookup registry, and a helper class to enable multicast method calls. This project is complete, and (unlike a few other rmi-over-jxta projects) is working and simple to use: Just extend PeerRemoteObject (instead of UnicastRemoteObject) and implement PeerRemote (instead of Remote). Thats it. It is currently being hosted as part of the jxl project at source forge. This proposal is to make a jxta project that leads directly to the sf site. Peermi would be placed with the 'core' or 'services' projects.
