Very unusual andd very interesting. Let's let this dream come true. I'm calling it the 'Dreamcatcher'. The application will have a dual propose: 1. Allow users to catalog their dreams 2. Allow users to share their dream entries with other users The application will be very useful to lucid dreamers. The application would allow the user to assign keywords to the dreams and to also apply dream signs (dream signs are important to lucid dreamers). Statistics on dream signs should also be generated when desired. I don't know of any app that provides this functionality. Categorizing and good search mechanisms are important as well. For the JXTA part, it will act like most online communities do. In the sense that you can have friends and each entry will have a certain degree of privacy. I'd also like for others to be able to post comments about the shared dreams. Since we will be dealing with private content security/encryption will be a priority in this application. Also later replication/consensus can be built on top of this. For instance if a peer is offline, it should be possible for other peers to share this same content as long as the privacy restrictions are still maintained. The consensus will come into play to determine which version of the dream + replies is the most correct. Also some statistics on dream signs can be generated for groups of users. I'd like to incorporate the peer presence project (when it gets published) into this application as well. I know that a few other JXTA developers are interested in dreaming, and specifically lucid dreaming, and would love some help on this. I'd like to spend some time in the design phase before coding begins. I plan on creating some use case diagram pretty soon.
