RE: MulticastSocket work like a real multicast?

Multicast socket in jxta is really group based, multicast transport if
enabled is used inside subnet for this purpose, but it isn't mandatory. So
you should check your code.
I haven't worked with multicast socket, rather with multicast pipe and it
worked great. I can provide you code with multicast pipe example. 
Jxta socket is based on pipe and takes care of chunking stream.

I was under the impression that a multicastsocket in jxta was group based,
not subnet based like a regular multicastsocket.  When testing my code over
two networks, they do not see eachother.  So I am now thinking I was wrong.
