Hello David, I work in a project that uses both, JXTA and XML-RPC. We are developing a universal digital library; it means that the files and services must be accessible from any device any time. To cope with mobile clients we use a middleware between them and the server that contains the files and the business logic. All that communication is through XML-RPC, but we also offer remote services, we other server instances, and the communication among those servers form a server constellation with JXTA and the communication is through JXTA Sockets. I attached a picture of this idea. I hope it helps. We are looking for RMI or XML-RPC implementations through internet, but we aren't finding very much. Somebody could help us?
