The can write to the same propagate pipe, because, after all, they're bound to it to because they want to announce their presence. But reply to what? You lost me on that one. Presence status is sort of unidirectional unto itself. Everybody announces their presence, but in my mind, it's not necessary to reply to these messages. -- Mark S.
