CVS in Eclipse

After a brief hiatus for some "real" work,
I'm back to trying to do some Keel work.

(No charge for the poetry.)

I'm having some trouble understanding CVS in Eclipse (I've only used
commandline CVS in the past.).  Why are only a subset of the many Keel
CVS modules importable into Eclipse as Java perspective projects?  How
do you update the others -- must you check them out again, from the CVS
perspective?  How do you deal with the ones that don't have .project and
.classpath files?  They can't be imported as Java projects, so how do
you get Eclipse to recognize their existence?

The real problem I'm having is that I can't do a synchronize with CVS
that includes the modules that are not imported.  Is there a way to do
an update on all of Keel at once?  Synchronize works on all the projects
I was able to import into Eclipse, but anything that is not a project
must be updated manually and individually.
