app-poll set-up errors

I'm trying to go through the documentation in the keel-doc project. I was able to build and deploy the default install of Keel from CVS. The main menu and HOJ applications work fine. However, when I try to add a poll in the Poll application, I get the error "Field 'Created' may not be null." I'm not sure what this means or how to fix it.
