RefactorIT released new version of their module for NetBeans. The
well-known and widely requested "extract method" operation is

XML module now bundles its own version of xalan. So if your module
needs to work with XSL transformations consider depending on the

What you should now?

Since last week we are using JDK 1.4 to produce daily builds of
NetBeans. We still have run on 1.3, but conditional usage of 1.4
features is allowed.

A proposal to create and upload module nbm files to AutoUpdate Center
after each daily build for a benefit of our users and quality of the
product has shown on nbdev.

As you might know Jesse and Tim are working on a book about NetBeans.
Its updated version is now available for review. So please try to
review at least a chapter - you will learn a thing or two about
