It seems that the interest in writing NetBeans Weekly Newsletter is
not high. There was a discussion about finding editors on nbdiscuss,
but there is nearly no interest - only Maxym signed:

We have also asked ourselves whethere there is anybody reading the
newsletter? The answer was a bit surprising for me, but we probably 
do not that much. One of the most mentioned reasons is that the 
newsletter became more or less some kind of extract of most active 
discussions from the mailing lists which is anyway available from 
community web page. See "Hot threads" at:

Moreover recently I have noticed a discussion on www.slashdot.org 
about the future of newsletters claiming that they should be 
replaced by RSS as users are usually scared to subscribe anywhere 
because they are affraid of spam.

I am not sure how compeling reason this is, but anyway, there is 
something we should do about the newsletter. Cancel it, for example.
Or is there really anybody who really wants to receive it?

Once upon a time I encouraged Nicolas to reply to his own questions 
with description of how he solved his problem. Since then Nicolas is
build excelent knowledge database that could be useful to everyone 
fighting various problems in NetBeans:

After fixing small bug that prevented the IDE to start, we have new 
q-build which is better than ever.
