[Public Service Announcement] Collab.Net will be upgrading the Netbeans.org site this Friday. This will take place Friday, Sept. 22nd, 10am PDT to 2pm PDT. This will correspond to 7pm Prague time to 11pm Prague time on Friday. During this time all WRITE operations to the netbeans.org machine will be turned off. This includes CVS commits, Mailing list posts and bugzilla changes. The upgrades probably won't be terribly apparent to those on the mailing lists, but the upgrades should make the lives of those who administer the netbeans.org site easier -- (me on Collab's side and Tim, Jesse and Jack in particular on the Prague team). We are still testing the upgrades, and as always, during this process, we may discover a showstopper that will delay our deployment of the upgrade. I will notify all of these aliases again 2 hours before the planned outtage and at that time, I will notify everyone whether the outage/upgrade will happen as planned. Actually, I'll probably notify everyone sooner if the outtage will be delayed, but 2 hours before is a _definite_.
