I encourage students/developers to learn and try to contribute to the NetBeans Plugins ecosystem, and these opinions will help me choose the right path chosen by most developing Plugins. I know Benno has developed many plugins and if he advocates Maven then I feel that anyone newly coming into NetBeans Plugin development should start with Maven based plugin now. I will wait for any other developers here for a different opinion. with regards Tushar
