It's time again to elect a new NetBeans Governance Board! All the information that you need to take part in the elections is right here. For reference the current nominations and the actual voting results can also be followed on the NetBeans.org website: * http://www.netbeans.org/community/articles/nbelections.html ************************************************************************ At this time we are asking for you to submit your nominations for the community members you wish to be considered for the NetBeans Governance Board. Send an e-mail with your nominations to the [email protected] alias, or by using our contact form. nbdiscuss is the preferred channel as it is more open and the traffic is relatively low. The e-mail should contain the names of one or more people who you would like to nominate. Please tell us why you think they should be considered and a bit more about their NetBeans experience (e.g. their project page, blog). You can also nominate yourself. The DEADLINE for nominations is Monday, May 26th, midnight in the last time zone. Nomination & voting schedule: ************************************************************************ Nomination & voting schedule: * May 13 - May 26: Two-week nomination period * May 27 - June 9: Two-week official polling period * *June 11, 2007: New Governance Board to be announced to community* For more information about NetBeans Governance, and the election process, please see the following pages: * NetBeans Governance * Board Election Process * The Current and Past Board Members - Rob Demmer
