I would like to nominate: Tom Wheeler http://www.tomwheeler.com http://platformx.netbeans.org (member) Current board member Fabrizio Giudici http://bluemarine.tidalwave.it http://weblogs.java.net/blog/fabriziogiudici/ http://platformx.netbeans.org (member) Masoud Kalali http://weblogs.java.net/blog/kalali/ Glenn Holmer http://wiki.netbeans.org/GlennHolmer Emilian Bold http://www.emilianbold.ro/ Aristides Villarreal http://avbravo.blogspot.com http://translatedfiles.netbeans.org/ http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/SpanishTranslation All these guys are great to work with (they are all Dream Team members), and every time they talk or write about NetBeans, whether privately or publicly, they strive for something for the entire community. They have been champions of making NB life easier for community members. Along with being champions for the community, they also understand that the project sponsors (Sun Microsystems) personnel have jobs to do and respect them, so I'm confident they can faithfully and fairly represent the entire community. They have great attitudes and everything I have seen from them is sincere and real. Not only are they these things which I write, but they devote an extreme amount of energy to the NetBeans community through source contributions, speeches and demonstrations, articles, tutorials, mailing list/user support, and NetBeans issue resolution through IssueZilla. Most of them continue to devote a fair amount of time to the NetBeans Innovators Grants program. This for no gain of their own other than helping the NetBeans community have its own contest and grants for the sake of community growth.
