Thank you Ryan for the kind words. I regretfully am going to take some time off from the NB board and any other responsibilities besides the Dream Team, PlatformX, and some patche, so I can not accept this year. I'm doing some writing about NB as well (articles) that will hopefully be available soon. I just have too much else to worry about right now, and the board responsibility keeps me watching lists etc more than I would like now days.

I would like to take this time to nominate Ryan. He has been a good presence in the community on the lists and helping others. He tried very diligently to help the web team work out Visual Web performance problems. He has been a strong advocate of NetBeans, and as he said of me, he genuinely wants NetBeans to succeed. Don't let his usage of all IDEs fool you, and that is healthy for the NetBeans IDE as he can give good insight, if anyone will listen, as to which features NB should have:

He has been a strong advocate of user issues in the Dream Team.

Too, I think Tom Wheeler has been a fine fellow board member; he too has been a strong advocate for user issues in the Dream Team, and has been a fair mind in any dealings we have had to be involved. I woud like to renominate Tom Wheeler:

Tom helps NB RCP/Platform/Module developers more or as much as anyone I know on top of the other things he does in the community. He contributes a lot in other ways as well filing issues and working with the NB developers to get feature ideas and needs across.

Fabrizio Giudici is another person I would like to nomiate. Fabrizio, like Tom helps NB RCP developers every day it seems. He is always helping someone, and he champions NetBeans at all times:

Thanks,

Wade
