I can appreciate what you're saying, however, I would like to point
out that we've discussed on this list how the current Governance Board
model is outdated and needs to change.  As those message show, both
Oracle and the community agree on this point.

Personally, I'd like to see that change manifest itself with the
Governance Board taking a broader and more active role than it has in
the past.  I'd like for the Governance Board to work towards
encouraging broader community participation (or at least making it
possible) at every level in the NetBeans Project, not just for
submitting patches and sending tweets.
