If you want to see ghosts, you´ll see them everywhere.
Just ask yourself why this irrational fear.

Corporations take decisions based on their own business interests, big
deal, that includes Novell (and its collaboration with Microsoft for
money -yay!-), IBM, Canonical, etc etc.

In this case, however, it seems there was no such decision to begin with.
