NetBeans Governance Board Term 20 - Nominations Open

The NetBeans team is pleased to start the election process for the 20th 
term of the NetBeans Governance Board

Submit your nominations for NetBeans community members that you think 
should be considered for the Board. Send an email with your nominations 
to the [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>alias. 
(Note: Signing up for nbdiscuss 
<http://www.netbeans.org/community/lists/top.html#community> is the 
preferred channel since it is open to the community. Traffic on this 
list is relatively low.)

The email should contain the name(s) of the nominee(s); very briefly, 
your reason for the nomination and an account of the nominee(s)'s 
NetBeans record (e.g., projects, blogs, community activism and so on).

You can also nominate yourself. We encourage you to!

The *deadline for nominations is Monday, October 8th*, at midnight in 
the last time zone

Nomination & Voting Schedule:

  * September 24 - October 8: Two-week nomination period
  * October 16 - October 30: Two-week voting period
  * October 31, 2012: New Governance Board announced
