My i7 laptop with 8GB of RAM slows to a crawl when I start 7.3 up. It takes about 2.5 minutes for the initial "open projects" to happen, and then from there, "Background scanning of projects" just sinks the user experience into abysmal lag. The entire windows user interface becomes sluggish, and everything I do in netbeans is very slow to respawn. Why again, are we scanning projects that I am not working on?
