Sun team working on the NB Core is looking for a new engineer

Hi,

the engineering team at Sun, Prague which is responsible for the
development of NetBeans Platform (OpenAPIs + Core) is looking for a new
member, someone with Swing expertise.  The job location is Prague.

Here is the job description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- design, implement and maintain subsystems of a large Java/Swing
  based desktop application framework (NetBeans Platform)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- excellent programming skills, at least three years programming in Java
- good working knowledge of Swing
- good communication skills, good English in both written and spoken form
- exposure to the whole development cycle of a software product

NOT REQUIRED BUT WELCOME KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- working knowledge of NetBeans OpenAPIs and NetBeans internals
- familiarity with both Windows and Unix operating systems
- familiarity with the basic principles of good UI design
- working knowledge of open source development tools (cvs, ant, XML, XSLT)

EDUCATION:

- university degree in computer science
- or university degree and at least 5 years in software development
