Java/Editor team looking for a new engineer

Hi,

the team at Sun, Prague which is responsible for the
development of NetBeans editor and support for the Java language is searching 
for a new member. Features we develop include for example the editor, 
refactoring, error hints, syntax coloring, code formating, code completion, 
support for Java Beans and Javadoc and more. Usual tasks cover everything from 
bugfixing old code over designing and implementing new features to designing new 
APIs used by other NetBeans modules. The job location is Prague.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- excellent programming skills, at least three years programming in Java
- good working knowledge of Swing
- good knowledge of multi threading
- good communication skills, good English in both written and spoken form
- exposure to the whole development cycle of a software product

NOT REQUIRED BUT WELCOME KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- working knowledge of NetBeans OpenAPIs and NetBeans internals
- familiarity with both Windows and Unix operating systems
- familiarity with the basic principles of good UI design
- familiarity with designing APIs
- working knowledge of open source development tools (cvs, ant, XML, XSLT)

EDUCATION:

- university degree in computer science
- or university degree and at least 5 years in software development
